Symbol Blanket
This large-scale fabric blanket was part of my exploration into ‘eyes of protection’ in my final year at university. This piece communicates how history, culture, and religion still influences modern day superstition.
The blanket features a repetitive eye symbol that is the combination of the Nazar, the Eye of Horus, and the All Seeing Eye, intending to communicate how people guard themselves using eye symbols as a form of defence against evil.
